BREAKING: Kevin McCarthy Welcomes Children’s Choir to Capitol Following Interruption of National Anthem Performance

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has taken a stand against injustice by inviting the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir to the U.S. Capitol after police interrupted their National Anthem performance. The interruption was deemed “unacceptable” by the Speaker.

The story first broke when The Gateway Pundit reported that the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir was stopped midway through their National Anthem rendition at the United States Capitol on Friday, May 26th. Capitol Police claimed that singing the anthem in their Capitol could be considered a demonstration, and might even offend someone.

After learning about the incident, Kevin McCarthy expressed his disappointment and invited the choir back to the Capitol. McCarthy made a point to mention that his office had welcomed the children’s choir, and that the Capitol is now back open to school groups.

David Rasbach, the director of the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir, spoke with The Gateway Pundit about the ordeal, saying that he believes the Capitol should invite the kids back and let them sing. He stated, “I think they should invite us back at their expense and have let us sing.” House Speaker McCarthy, showing true leadership, stepped up to do just that.

In conclusion, by taking swift action and personally inviting the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir back to the U.S. Capitol, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has shown that he will not stand for any attempt to stifle the patriotism and freedom of expression of America’s youth.
