**Children’s Choir Stopped Mid-Performance at US Capitol; Police Call National Anthem a “Demonstration”**
A shocking incident occurred at the US Capitol on May 26th, as the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir was halted during their rendition of the National Anthem. They had received prior approval, but the Capitol police stopped them, claiming it was a “demonstration.”
The esteemed Rushingbrook Children’s Choir, from South Carolina, was scheduled for a Capitol tour and had planned to sing a set of patriotic songs in the historic Statuary Hall. South Carolina’s representatives, Joe Wilson and William Timmons, were involved in granting approval for the performance. However, during the performance, a man from Rep. Joe Wilson’s office intervened and was instructed by Capitol police to “shut them down.”
David Rasbach, the choir’s director, was shocked and disappointed by the decision, insisting that it was not a demonstration but a simple performance of the National Anthem. The Capitol police argued that the performance might be offensive to some. The choir took their performance to the steps of the Capitol, outside of the building.
Capitol police later denied stopping the children’s performance, which contradicted witness statements and video evidence. They claimed that musical performances were not allowed in the US Capitol, despite past instances of choirs being allowed to sing inside.
**In conclusion, the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir was unfairly stopped from performing the National Anthem inside the US Capitol, sparking controversy and disappointment. It raises questions about the Capitol police’s actions and the claim that musical performances are not allowed inside.**

I didn't see ANYONE looking like they were offended, except the police.
I CANNOT BELIEVE this was halted, of all things.
I'll betcha if the "pride" rally wanted to sing THEIR song in the same spot, it would be allowed and applauded by the same ones who deemed the children's choir offensive.
America Ain't America any more.
Jesus better hurry up and come. This world is going to hell in a hand basket.
