**Love Triangle Gone Wrong: Miami Cop and Pregnant Woman Arrested After Allegedly Beating Cheating Boyfriend**
A love triangle spiraled into violence in Miami when an off-duty police officer and an expectant mother allegedly assaulted their unfaithful shared boyfriend. The accused women, police officer Anna Elicia Perez and Mila Zuloaga, were arrested in connection to the incident.
Last Friday, Perez and Zuloaga allegedly confronted the unidentified man, both in a relationship with him, at a restaurant in Palmetto Bay, Florida. The women engaged in a verbal dispute with him about his infidelity that quickly escalated into a physical altercation. The man reportedly sustained redness on his face and a bruised lower lip from the attack.
After the incident, Zuloaga was taken to the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Special Victims Bureau, while Perez was sent to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Perez admitted to police that she had “pushed and hit the victim multiple times.”
Whether the two women planned to confront the man or met coincidentally remains unclear. Zuloaga, seven months pregnant with the man’s child, shares a home with him. The man is also romantically involved with Perez.
“I am disappointed by this officer’s actions. We are held to a higher standard of conduct on and off duty. Although this officer was off duty, her behavior was unacceptable and it goes against the core values of our department,” stated Miami-Dade Police Director Alfredo Ramirez. Perez has been placed on leave with pay pending an investigation by the State Attorney’s Office.
**This incident serves as a stark reminder that even those tasked with maintaining law and order can falter and succumb to human emotions, casting a shadow on the integrity of their position.**
