Comey Returns to Defend Wray: Swamp Creatures Unite to Protect Deep-State Secrets
Former FBI Director James Comey is defending FBI Director Christopher Wray for not handing over a subpoenaed document to the House Oversight Committee. Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky and Republican Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa wrote to the FBI demanding the agency to produce a document detailing an alleged criminal scheme involving a foreign national and then-Vice President Joe Biden. The House Oversight Committee issued a subpoena to Wray for forms that mention Biden, but the FBI has refused to hand over the document. And now Wray is threatened to be held in contempt of Congress.
