**Shocking video surfaces of teen gunmen’s deadly ambush in Chicago, leaving a 14-year-old dead and three injured**

A horrifying video has emerged, showcasing a group of teenage gunmen using lethal squad tactics in an ambush that resulted in the death of a 14-year-old boy and left a 21-year-old woman and two men, aged 18 and 19, wounded. One of the alleged teen attackers was caught by police after a shootout, while no officers were injured in the confrontation, though three were admitted to a hospital for observation.

The chilling footage, shared by CWB Chicago, shows four hoodie-wearing youths maneuvering through an abandoned lot in a residential neighborhood before forming an attack squad as they hit the sidewalk, unleashing a crushing volley of gunshots. The New York Post reports that the teens used makeshift machine guns equipped with illegal “Glock switches,” allowing the weapons to hold expanded magazines that can carry up to 50 rounds.

CWB Chicago obtained the video, showing the teens opening fire on a helpless crowd, resulting in a 14-year-old boy’s death and the injury of three others. A 16-year-old boy later fired a gun at Chicago police officers as they investigated the shooting. He was subsequently charged with six counts of attempted murder of peace officers.

Chicago police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert and discovered four victims lying on the ground and a 16-year-old boy armed with a handgun nearby. The boy fired his weapon at officers before being apprehended and taken into custody. Authorities recovered 80 shells at the crime scene, highlighting the extent of the brutal attack.

The 16-year-old gunman has been charged with attempted murder of police officers and unlawful use of a weapon under the age of 21 among other charges. This tragedy highlights the disturbing trend of young, armed criminals utilizing military-style tactics in an urban environment.
