Exclusive Update: Alarming Population Decline in Portland, Oregon Since 2020 – Crime Crisis Escalates!

**Portland, Oregon is losing its population as crime surges**

The city of Portland, Oregon has experienced a significant decline in population since 2020 due to its inability to control crime and the widespread presence of rioting leftists. The situation has reached its tipping point, with the once-thriving city now resembling a place where Antifa rules.

As a result of ongoing Antifa riots, strict Covid restrictions, and high taxes, Portland has witnessed one of the most significant population losses among US cities. Census data reveals that from July 1, 2021, to July 1, 2022, the city lost 8,308 people, ranking sixth in the country for population decline. This downturn in numbers follows 15 years of consistent growth before the Covid-19 pandemic and the surge in crime as protests and riots rocked the city in the summer of 2020.

Long-time residents are disheartened by the deteriorating state of their city. One resident who has lived in Portland for the past 15 years expressed how they found it challenging to witness the city at the center of increasing tensions throughout the pandemic. Another resident, Larry May, remarked that it was as if Portland had died, with tourists, particularly from Japan, not returning as they once did.

Crime, especially shootings, has become a significant concern among residents, with many believing that the Portland they knew no longer exists. The radical left is frequently cited as the root cause behind this problem. The departure of residents from Portland also means the loss of tax dollars for the city, making it increasingly difficult to fund essential services.

**The decline in Portland’s population due to crime must serve as a wake-up call**

The massive population loss experienced by Portland, Oregon, which was once a flourishing city, is a clear indication that urgent measures must be taken to address the city’s crime issues. The impact of Antifa’s influence, coupled with Covid restrictions and financial burdens, has illuminated the need to regain control to prevent further devastation.
