National Guard Mobilized: Republican Governors Take Action at Border

Breaking! GOP Governors Take Action to Secure Southern Border. Find out why Sarah Huckabee Sanders and five other Republican governors are mobilizing troops to combat the escalating migrant crisis. This crucial report reveals the truth behind Biden’s dereliction of duty and the threats faced by our communities.

Republican governors across the country are uniting to tackle the border crisis head-on. Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the latest to respond, announcing the deployment of approximately 80 National Guard troops to the southern border in July. This move follows the lead of Governors Kim Reynolds (Iowa), Jim Justice (W.Va.), Glenn Youngkin (Va.), Henry McMaster (S.C.), and Kristi Noem (S.D.), who have already pledged their support.

Governor Reynolds, the first to make the announcement, expressed concern over the consequences of an open border. She emphasized the threat posed by fentanyl and cartels, which are infiltrating our communities due to President Biden’s inaction. The Republican Governors stand ready to protect their states’ interests as the White House continues to ignore the crisis.

Border states, overwhelmed by the influx of migrants, are now resorting to busing them to Democratic cities. This tactic has sparked tensions, with New York City Mayor Eric Adams accusing Texas Governor Greg Abbott of targeting “Black-run cities.” Governor Kathy Hochul of New York has called on local officials to accept illegal immigrants, branding those who oppose it as “bigoted.”

Since President Biden assumed office, over 4.6 million migrants have been apprehended for crossing the border illegally. While the number includes repeat crossers, it highlights the gravity of the situation. Migrant detentions have decreased slightly since the lifting of the pandemic-era Title 42 immigration restriction, but the crisis persists.

Public opinion on Biden’s handling of immigration remains disapproving, with only 26 percent of respondents approving, according to a recent Reuters poll. The Biden administration’s response includes deploying over 1,500 U.S. troops to the border, but their effectiveness remains questionable.

The deployment of National Guard troops by Republican governors demonstrates a united front against the border crisis. These troops will play a crucial role in assisting overwhelmed border agents and maintaining security. The situation demands urgent attention, and it is clear that the governors are taking action where the Biden administration has failed.

The southern border crisis escalates as Republican governors join forces to confront the challenges head-on. The deployment of troops highlights the failure of President Biden to secure our border and protect our communities. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing crisis. Together, we must ensure the safety and security of our nation.
