Exclusive: FBI Demands Twitter Censorship of Journalists for Ukraine, Involving US & Canadian Writers

An alarming new revelation in the ‘Twitter Files’ highlights how the FBI can be manipulated by foreign powers, with the recent scandal exposing the FBI’s role in aiding ‘misinformation’ censorship efforts on Twitter, specifically targeting American and Canadian journalists.

Leaked emails reveal that in March 2022, the FBI collaborated with Ukrainian intelligence to censor social media users. The concerning part here is the FBI’s involvement in obtaining personal information and targeting the media, with its list containing prominent journalists. Demonstrating the extent to which the FBI was willing to collaborate with a foreign government, the incident raises serious questions about the agency’s commitment to upholding freedom of speech.

Further worrying revelations show that the FBI worked with Ukrainian intelligence to pressure Facebook into removing accounts and posts deemed as Russian “disinformation” by the SBU. With politics at play, the broad definition of “disinformation” used by the Ukrainian official involved could mean anything that “simply contradicts the Ukrainian government’s narrative
