**DC Swamp Continues to Mislead the Public on Biden Allegations**
Former Attorney General Bill Barr denies Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin’s account that the FBI investigation into a “criminal bribery scheme” involving President Joe Biden was closed due to lack of evidence. Barr reveals the ongoing probe, while Chairof the House Oversight Committee, Rep. James Comer, plans to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress.
In a recent whirlwind of conflicting accounts surrounding the allegations against President Joe Biden, Maryland’s Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin asserted that Attorney General Bill Barr had shuttered an investigation involving the president. Raskin claimed that the Justice Department found no evidence in the case which supposedly implicates Biden in a bribery scheme during his time as vice president. However, Barr staunchly denies Raskin’s version of events, proclaiming that the investigation was not only very much alive at the time, but is still ongoing in Delaware.
Barr’s revelation demonstrates the unreliability of Raskin’s statements, along with those of the Washington Post’s story covering the supposed investigation closure. As it happens, Barr’s account of the matter supports Kentucky’s Republican Congressman James Comer, who spoke out after a recent meeting with FBI officials. Comer emphatically refuted claims of the investigation being “disproven” and instead revealed the open investigation within Delaware.
