Texas has decided to follow in the footsteps of nine other states and part ways with the controversial Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) voter registration system. The Gateway Pundit recently released a 123-minute presentation from 2011, wherein representatives of ERIC/Pew attempted to convince California to join. Twelve years later, California still refuses to join ERIC, and the evidence is mounting that Othe other states may want to reevaluate their participation too.
This 2011 meeting was an all-day conference recorded by California’s now-defunct California Channel. The meeting agenda consisted of five sessions, but only session #1 and #5 discussed ERIC. Seated in the audience were election officials from various counties, state officials, and a few guests. All but one of the 13 people Pew brought to the meeting were leftists.
Referring to clips from the meeting, one of the criticisms of ERIC was their heavy use of polling and focus groups to determine the most persuasive messages.
