Border Patrol Witnesses Mind-Blowing Surge in Illegal Immigration from China and Afghanistan – The Numbers Will Leave You Speechless!

The situation at the US-Mexico border appears to be worsening, as Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz revealed that migrant inflow has spiked by more than a thousand percent from certain countries, including Afghanistan and China, from fiscal year 2022 to 2023. This comes on the heels of Ortiz’s social media post highlighting comparable migrant surges from Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Paraguay, Mauritania, Djibouti, and the Dominican Republic.

The Border Patrol Chief emphasized that they are still struggling to repatriate the migrants to their respective countries due to the lack of effective programs in place. While the Border Patrol encountered only 342 migrants from China in fiscal year 2021, the figure spiked to 1,987 the following year, and a whopping 9,753 in the first seven months of fiscal year 2023.

Hundreds of thousands of people are still seeking asylum in the United States, with more than 150,000 Afghan refugees applying for special immigrant visas after the Taliban took control in August. Nonetheless, the Biden administration has come under intense scrutiny amid protests that seem to stem from a lack of a decisive and effective border policy.

President Joe Biden’s administration reports that an estimated 1.5 million illegal migrant gotaways have taken place since his inauguration in 2021. In stark contrast, only 415,000 gotaways were recorded throughout the entirety of the Trump administration in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Amidst the ongoing immigration crisis, the Biden administration has expanded the number of foreign nationals that can use the CBP One app to enter the United States to 40,000 per month. This digital platform allows migrants to reserve asylum appointments in advance and has been embraced by approximately 80,000 foreign nationals in just four months.

However, according to a recent CBS News survey of Americans, 63% disapprove of Biden’s approach to the country’s border concerns while a mere 37% approve.

The facts speak for themselves, and it is clear that the Biden administration’s immigration policies have failed woefully in preventing illegal border crossings and protecting US citizens. It is a glaring example of a lack of proper foresight. With no end in sight, it is time for the administration to take responsibility and take corrective measures to save the US from this crisis.
