CatholicVote has launched a million-dollar ad campaign, slamming the Los Angeles Dodgers for endorsing the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an anti-Catholic hate group. The ad accuses the Dodgers of supporting an organization known for its outrageous and blasphemous acts, such as mocking Catholic nuns and the desecration of sacred symbols. The video highlights the group’s scheduled honor of June 16th during the Pride Game. The hate group indulges in distasteful pole dances on crosses and sexualizes figures as revered as the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ. The ad further emphasizes that honoring and celebrating this group undermines the principles of fairness and equality. In response, the Dodgers initially disinvited the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence before later reinstating the invitation.
