Rep. James Comer: Hunter Biden’s Plea Deal Won’t Halt Investigation

Hunter Biden’s plea deal to federal tax and gun charges is a clear indication of the two-tiered justice system implemented in the country under President Joe Biden. Despite this plea deal, it will have no impact on the House investigation conducted by Representative James Comer into the alleged international bribery schemes of Hunter Biden and his father, Joe Biden.

The Department of Justice’s lenient charges against Hunter Biden offer him nothing but a slap on the wrist, while the House Oversight Committee is uncovering growing evidence that the Biden family engaged in a pattern of corruption, influence peddling, and possibly bribery. The Oversight Committee will not rest until the full extent of President Biden’s involvement in the family’s schemes is revealed.

Hunter Biden has agreed to a Pretrial Diversion Agreement with respect to his gun charge, allowing him to avoid pleading guilty. Furthermore, he has agreed to plead guilty to failing to pay about $100,000 in taxes for 2017 and again in 2018. Biden’s attorney, Chris Clark, stated that Hunter believes it is important to take responsibility for his mistakes in a period of turmoil and addiction in his life. Nevertheless, there is no reason to believe that this plea deal should end the ongoing investigation into the Biden family’s corruption.

The House Oversight Committee has discovered shocking banking records that allegedly show that the Biden family set up more than 20 shell companies to move millions of dollars from foreign sources. Representative Comer, alongside Senator Charles Grassley, has pressed the FBI to admit that it has a form detailing a confidential informant’s highly detailed description of how as much as $10 million was paid to the Bidens by a Ukrainian oligarch while Joe Biden was vice president.

The Committee will begin deposing key figures in the Biden family influence-peddling schemes, disregarding the FBI’s reluctance to cooperate. Representative Comer remains steadfast in his determination to uncover the truth about the Bidens, despite facing obstacles from the corrupt Department of Justice and the biased mainstream media.

Despite these challenges, the Committee has made significant progress in the investigation, obtaining access to the Treasury Cabinet’s suspicious activity reports and bank records through subpoenas. The mainstream media may deny the existence of any evidence against Hunter and Joe Biden, but the facts speak loud and clear. The Biden family’s corrupt actions must be brought to light, and the Committee will persist in its quest for justice.
