On Tuesday, Joe Biden addressed his administration’s management of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) risks at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. However, reporters did not let him off the hook without addressing his son Hunter Biden’s criminal charges.

Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges in a sweetheart deal given by his corrupt father’s Justice Department after a five-year investigation. This shady deal can only be seen as a mop-up operation to protect the Bidens.

The Justice Department is treating Hunter Biden with kid gloves, as he won’t face any jail time despite his crimes. Hunter Biden avoided paying his taxes, which is a crime that only peasants are punished for. Furthermore, even though the gun charge is a FELONY, he won’t have to plead guilty to that crime. Prosecutors decided to handle the gun charge as a “diversion case,” which is a prime example of the elite playing by a different set of rules than the average American.

Joe Biden recently defended his son Hunter in an interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, saying, “First of all, my son has done nothing wrong. I trust him. I have faith in him.” This statement is unfounded, considering that Hunter Biden was charged with crimes on Tuesday. But, as usual, Joe Biden will do anything to protect his own family, even if it means bending the law.

Joe Biden’s joy over Hunter’s criminal charges is appalling. He shouted to reporters on Tuesday, “I’m very proud of my son!” This statement is inexcusable, considering that the evidence against Hunter is enough to land him behind bars, but it seems as if he is getting off scot-free because of his last name.

The very fact that Joe Biden believes Hunter has done nothing wrong is a testament to how out of touch the Biden family is with reality. The Bidens have a long history of corruption, and it seems that history continues with Hunter’s sweetheart deal. It is an absolute disgrace that Joe Biden is standing by and watching as his son gets away with criminal charges that any other American would likely face severe consequences for. It’s time for the Bidens to be held accountable for their actions, just like any other American.
