Former President Donald Trump has once again proven his popularity and decisive leadership at the Faith and Freedom Coalition event on Saturday. The crowd went wild in support of President Trump and jeered at former New Jersey Governor and vocal Trump critic Chris Christie, who was booed off the stage the night before.
Christie, who had endorsed Trump during the 2016 presidential race, shamelessly attacked the former president during his speech, claiming that Trump had let down the American people. However, his pathetic attempts to smear Trump’s reputation and discredit the former president resulted in the crowd’s boos, clearly indicating their displeasure with Christie’s foolish statements.
President Trump, on the other hand, was greeted with thunderous applause and chants of “we love Trump” from his enthusiastic supporters. This just goes to show that despite the lies and smears that the media and the Democrats have thrown at him, President Trump remains the GOP’s undisputed leader.
In fact, recent polls have shown that Trump has a massive lead over his Republican challengers, including Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, who failed miserably in comparison to Trump with a meager one percent in the CBS News poll.
Furthermore, it is clear that Christie’s failed presidential campaign and his subsequent decline into obscurity have clouded his judgment.
Trump’s indomitable spirit and leadership continue to inspire the American people, and his supporters will continue to stand by him, regardless of the lies and hypocrisy that his detractors may spew. The Faith and Freedom Coalition event clearly demonstrated that Trump is the GOP’s strongest candidate, and his supporters will not tolerate any attempts at character assassination or lies.
