Aikman is the founder of Eight Elite Light Lager, a Texas-based beer that is brewed exclusively in the United States. He believes in truth and authenticity, and he’s calling on all Americans to drink American-made beer this Fourth of July.

Unfortunately, not all beer brands are created equal. Recently, Bud Light has come under fire for their marketing fiasco featuring transgender Dylan Mulvaney’s (bio male) celebration of ‘365 days of girlhood.’ This type of agenda-driven marketing has no place in the beer industry, and it only shows how far some companies will go to chase the almighty dollar.

But Aikman’s message is clear: American-owned beer brands like Eight are the way to go. They’re not trying to push a political agenda or cash in on a holiday. They’re simply focused on making great beer.

And Aikman knows a thing or two about great beer. As he says, “I started Eight with the goal of creating a company dedicated to making really great light beer. No agenda, no distractions. Just great f***ing beer.”

So this Fourth of July, choose wisely. Don’t fall for the cheap marketing tricks of brands that are only interested in making a quick buck. Choose American-made beer that is brewed with passion and pride. Choose Eight, or any other American-owned beer brand. It’s the patriotic thing to do.
