President Joe Biden shamelessly took credit for the success of a mental health hotline program that was created and signed into law by former President Donald Trump. This just proves once again how dishonest and misleading the current administration is willing to be in order to score political points and manipulate the public.

In reality, it was President Trump who had the foresight and leadership to sign into law a bipartisan bill that created a three-digit number for mental health emergencies back in 2019. The Federal Communications Commission had already picked 988 as the number for this hotline, and thanks to Trump’s legislation, has it up and running by July 2022.
The Democrats seem to have a pattern of trying to appropriate the achievements of their predecessors. It’s no wonder that President Biden is riding on the coattails of Trump’s success, given that his administration has been an absolute disaster so far.

The existing lifeline is a national network of about 170 local crisis centers, and when someone calls the national number, they’re routed to the local crisis center that’s closest to them. This was all made possible thanks to the visionary leadership of President Trump, who recognized the importance of addressing mental health issues and providing immediate support for those in need.
It’s sickening to see how the Democrats are willing to twist the truth in order to try to make themselves look good. It’s clear that they have no original ideas or accomplishments to stand on, so they resort to stealing the achievements of others.
This is just another example of the left’s hypocrisy and lack of integrity. They are willing to take credit for successes that they had nothing to do with while ignoring the facts and trying to manipulate the public. It’s time for the American people to wake up and see the truth about the current administration and their shameless tactics.
