Eli Lilly Pumps $500K into Scholarships for Illegals in this Red State

Pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly has made the shock decision to donate $500,000 to four organizations that provide college scholarships to illegal immigrants in Indiana covered by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). This demonstrates a complete disregard for the rule of law and the sovereignty of our nation.

Eli Lilly justifies the donation by stating that it seeks to “remove barriers and create more equitable, affordable post-high school education opportunities for Indiana’s growing immigrant population.” However, this is nothing more than virtue signaling and pandering to the open borders lobby.

One of the organizations that received funding from Eli Lilly is the Indiana Undocumented Youth Alliance, which actively seeks to undermine immigration laws. It promotes radical policies that encourage individuals to break the law and enter the country illegally. Furthermore, it discriminates against legal residents and citizens by exclusively providing scholarships to those who are in the United States illegally.

Eli Lilly has also provided financial support to the Indiana Latino Institute, a nonprofit organization that advances Latino educational attainment and workforce preparedness statewide through advocacy, leadership development, and culturally responsive programming. The organization is a self-proclaimed “convener of Latino networks and organizations statewide,” suggesting that it prioritizes a narrow ethnic agenda over the wider interests of all Indiana residents.

The Society and Friends of Colombia also received financial support from Eli Lilly. The organization focuses on Latino education advancement and youth enrichment, promoting the cultural values of Latinos in Indiana. Again, this shows a misguided focus on promoting a particular demographic group, regardless of whether they are in the country legally or not.

Eli Lilly’s donation to these organizations is a slap in the face to law-abiding citizens and legal residents of Indiana who work hard to provide for themselves and their families. It is outrageous that a company that relies on the trust and patronage of the American people chooses to undermine our national security and sovereignty in this way.

In conclusion, Eli Lilly’s decision to donate $500,000 to organizations that provide college scholarships to illegal immigrants in Indiana is a clear example of corporate virtue signaling and pandering to the open borders lobby. It is a misguided and harmful action that undermines the rule of law and our national sovereignty.
