Ex-NFL Star Kaepernick Desperately Trying to Stay Relevant with New Video

Colin Kaepernick, the anti-American former NFL player, has recently posted a new Nike video in a desperate attempt to remain relevant and fulfill his capitalist contract with the company. In the video, he is seen throwing balls to NFL players at Nike’s Oregon HQ, including Kendrick Bourne, Ceedee Lamb, Najee Harris, Jaylen Waddle, Chris Olave, and Derrick Henry. This self-serving promotion has nothing to do with football and is all about Kaepernick helping Nike make more money.

Kaepernick, who is now 35 years old, hasn’t played professionally since 2016. His constant proclamations that he is “ready” to play are nothing but attention-seeking tactics from someone who is way past his prime. At 35, most quarterbacks are already at the end of their careers, and the average age of NFL QBs is in the upper 20s. Kaepernick is physically unfit and has aged out of the position, even as a backup.

But what is really notable about this video is the hypocrisy of Kaepernick, who has been claiming to be an anti-capitalist. In January, he made outrageous claims that U.S. troops were plundering the “non-white world” while raking in millions from shoes made in Nike factories full of cheap labor all across the developing world. He accused America of “imperialism,” using terror against “black and brown bodies,” and claimed our troops were responsible for “plundering the non-white world.”

By June, he had become even more radical, directly stating that capitalism is not for black people. He insisted that “black liberation simply isn’t possible under capitalism” and claimed he had to work with avowed Marxists to write his anti-American book; Our History Has Always Been Contraband: In Defense of Black Studies.

Yet, here he is, jumping and running in service to Nike, one of the largest capitalist corporations in the world. How much more hypocritical could he be? It is clear that Kaepernick is only interested in promoting his own fake ideals and making more money for himself, regardless of the countless people Nike exploits in developing countries.

It is shameful that this kind of deception and manipulation is allowed to occur, let alone be promoted by mainstream media outlets. Kaepernick is nothing more than a washed-up former athlete desperate for attention and money, willing to sell his soul to mega-corporations like Nike. It is time for the American people to wake up and see this charlatan for who he truly is – a hypocrite, a liar, and an enemy of capitalism and America.
