8-Year-Old Leukemia Surviving Hero Sings with Luke Combs, Spiraling Hope and Cheer!

Get your tissues ready because country superstar Luke Combs brought an eight-year-old boy battling cancer on stage to perform “Fast Car” with him at Gillette Stadium in Boston and it will bring you to tears.

Cooper Massengill, 8, from Georgia, was diagnosed with leukemia when he was only three years old and has been fighting ever since. This brave little boy has gone through a lot of surgeries and treatments, but he didn’t let that stop him from living his dream of meeting his favorite country star, Luke Combs.

Thanks to the Make-a-Wish foundation, Cooper’s wish to meet his idol came true. But what he didn’t know was that Luke Combs and his team had a surprise in store for him that would make his dream come true in ways he never thought possible.

The meeting with Luke Combs was already a dream come true for Cooper, but then the country superstar asked him to join him on stage to sing the chorus of his hit cover song. The crowd went wild as Cooper walked up on the stage, and he could feel their love and support. “When I was walking up, everyone was shouting my name. It felt great,” Cooper told CBS News.

The duet between Luke Combs and Cooper was nothing short of magical, and it brought tears to everyone’s eyes. It was a beautiful moment filled with love, hope, and courage.

But the surprises didn’t end there. After he performed, the entire stadium chanted Cooper’s name, showing him just how much he inspired and touched their hearts. It was a moment that no one will ever forget.

“Cooper’s wish was to meet Luke Combs. He had no idea that he was going to go on stage. His secret wish, within his wish, was to sing ‘Fast Car’ with him. And Luke Combs and his team made a lifetime memory for him,” said Sean Holleran, the CEO of Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
