Vice President Kamala Harris has once again proven herself to be out of touch with reality. In a recent interview, she had the audacity to criticize border states for transporting and releasing migrants to sanctuary cities, including near her own residence. It’s clear that she’s more interested in political posturing than actually solving the crisis at our southern border.
Despite the fact that these migrants are being sent all over the country, the Biden administration continues to ignore the dire situation on the border. In their rush to reverse the previous administration’s policies, they have created a humanitarian crisis that is overwhelming border towns and leaving local officials completely helpless.
Instead of taking responsibility and working to fix the problem, Vice President Harris has the nerve to criticize those who are trying to make the best of a bad situation. She talks about “human beings” being treated as pawns in a political game, but it’s her own party that is playing that game. They are using these migrants as a wedge issue to try to score cheap political points.
The reality is that the overwhelming majority of these migrants are not coming to the United States because they are fleeing harm. They are coming because they know that the Biden administration has created a policy of open borders. They are taking advantage of our generosity and our laws to enter the country illegally.
🚨🚨🚨: Texas has dropped off around 50 migrants outside @VP Harris’ home in Washington, D.C. as part of its relocation program in response to the ongoing border crisis.
Many in this group are from Ecuador, Argentina, and Nicaragua. Some say they crossed into Eagle Pass, TX. pic.twitter.com/2owA8o5GMY

It’s time for Vice President Harris and the Biden administration to take responsibility for their actions. They need to stop playing politics with the lives of these migrants and work to secure our border. Instead of just talking about immigration reform, they need to take concrete action to protect our country and our citizens.
In the meantime, the rest of us will have to deal with the consequences of their failed policies. We will have to deal with the strain on our resources, the increase in crime, and the spread of disease. This is a crisis that is affecting all of us, and it’s time for our leaders to start acting like it.
