Shaking Democracy: Smith's Dual Legal Actions Send Shock Waves to Ex-President's Camp!
Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., is taking action to stop federal funds from being used to pay the salary of special counsel Jack Smith. Smith has been working with Biden’s Department of Justice, weaponizing his position to push forward the administration’s morally corrupt agenda.
Smith’s recent federal indictments against former President Donald Trump, accusing him of conspiracy and obstruction to overturn the 2020 election, are prime examples of his willingness to do anything to further the left’s agenda. Ogles, along with co-sponsors Reps. Alex Mooney, R-WV, and Eli Crane, R-Ariz., are fighting back with the You’re Fired Act.
Under the You’re Fired Act, Smith would be prohibited from receiving a federal salary funded by taxpayers. It’s time for American taxpayers to stop funding the leftist agenda that is driven by corrupt bureaucrats like Smith, who are trying to silence the voices of the American people.
It’s clear that Smith is nothing more than a puppet of the left and is working tirelessly to imprison political opponents ahead of the 2024 election. This effort is a blatant attack on our democracy and our values, and we cannot let these tactics prevail.
Trump has pleaded not guilty to the four charges in the Washington, D.C., indictment. Prosecutors are pushing for a Jan. 2 trial date, but it’s clear that the left is trying to drag out this process as long as possible to further their agenda of silencing the opposition.
It’s time for the American people to stand up against the left’s corruption and call out these weaponized bureaucrats who are trying to silence our voices. Together, we can stop the left from using taxpayer dollars to fund their morally corrupt agenda. The You’re Fired Act is just the beginning of our fight to uphold the values that make America great.
