In a recent Democratic National Committee press conference, Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway (D) shamelessly touted the false claim that Democrat-run cities are thriving. But let’s get real here, folks! The majority of these cities have been hit hard with a wave of crime and destruction, not to mention the long, detrimental effects of COVID-related restrictions on businesses. It’s no wonder that the big Democrat-run states, such as California, Illinois, and New York, have lost an alarming number of residents to red states like Florida.

One only needs to look at the recent tragedy that occurred in Milwaukee, where the presser was held, to see the grim reality of the situation. Nearly 30 people were shot, with four fatalities, including two mass shootings that took place within blocks of each other. This type of violence has sadly become all too common in Democrat-run cities, where law and order have been abandoned in favor of placating radical leftist groups.
Contrary to what Mayor Rhodes-Conway would have us believe, this nation is in decline, and it’s largely due to the failed policies of Democrat-run cities. It’s time to wake up and realize that these politicians care more about their own political agendas than the safety and well-being of their constituents. It’s time for a change and a return to strong, conservative leadership that values law and order, economic growth, and the safety and security of our communities.
