KJP Lashes Out at Reporter for Daring to Bring Up Impeachment Inquiry into Biden

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was clearly rattled during a briefing on Wednesday when a reporter dared to question President Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s foreign business dealings. This comes after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced on Tuesday that Republicans would be launching an impeachment inquiry into the president due to what they say is a culture of corruption within the Biden family.

When asked how confident she was that there would be no incriminating evidence against Biden in Hunter’s business dealings, Jean-Pierre responded with defensiveness and hostility. “House Republicans have spent all year investigating the president,” she snapped, “and have turned up with no evidence – none – that he did anything wrong. I mean, that is what we’ve heard over and over again from their almost year-long investigation. And that’s because the president didn’t do anything wrong -”

The reporter then asked, “Is lying to the public wrong?” to which Jean-Pierre responded with a dismissive retort. Such behavior is indicative of the Biden administration’s refusal to address the weighty and troubling accusations against the president.

Despite being pressed on the matter, Jean-Pierre refused to address whether or not Biden lied to the public about his son’s foreign business dealings. Instead, she chose to attack the Republicans for their supposed “ridiculous attacks,” which they have apparently debunked. This is a clear example of how the Biden administration ignores the glaring holes in their defense of the president and refuses to hold him accountable.

Furthermore, during the press conference’s conclusion, a reporter questioned why the president had interacted with so many of his son’s foreign business associates. They cited a CNN poll, which revealed that over half of the voters believed that Biden was involved and that he lied. However, Jean-Pierre chose to ignore the question and walked out of the press conference, refusing to answer.

This behavior is unacceptable, especially for a press secretary who is meant to be the voice of transparency and accountability. It is becoming increasingly evident that the Biden administration is not interested in investigating the numerous allegations of corruption levied against the president and his family. The American people deserve answers and transparency, and it is time for the Biden administration to be held accountable for their behavior.
