John Schneider, celebrated for his iconic role in “Dukes of Hazzard,” has become the latest target of the Biden administration’s overreach, drawing the attention of the United States Secret Service. Known for his conservative views, Schneider is under investigation due to comments he made online about President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.
Schneider, expressing his First Amendment rights, posted remarks that were quickly misconstrued as a call for the hanging of President Biden, accusing him of “treason.” Despite the post’s swift removal, the Secret Service, often seen as Biden’s personal protectors, launched an investigation into Schneider’s comments.
Schneider clarified to Deadline, “This is my final comment on this. I neither said nor implied any such thing. Unlike other celebrities who have openly threatened U.S. presidents, I did not call for violence. My post was a critique of the current leadership’s corruption and lack of transparency, crucial for our constitutional republic’s survival.”
The Biden-led White House and the Secret Service, under the Department of Homeland Security, remain tight-lipped about the investigation. A Secret Service spokesperson commented, “We investigate all threats related to our protectees but do not comment on protective intelligence specifics.”
This incident highlights the growing trend of targeting conservative voices, especially those like Schneider who use their platforms to challenge the status quo. Schneider’s career in entertainment and his foray into political discourse showcase his dedication to addressing critical national issues, a stance often met with hostility in today’s polarized climate.
Schneider’s remarks, far from being a threat, reflect the frustrations of many Americans with the current administration. His situation underscores the increasing suppression of free speech under the guise of security, raising concerns about the state of fundamental freedoms in the Biden era.

Strange...I don't read a threat in that anywhere. WTF is wrong with these morons? First he would be tried for treason after being indicted and then the penalty would be hanging? Like DUH? The "secret service" doesn't have better things to investigate? LIKE WHO LEFT THE COCAINE IN THE WHITEHOUSE? Give me a break. I guess if someone prays that Chairman Xiden would be hit by lightning they would be investigated to find out if they were Zeus or not.
