Shocking NewsBusters Podcast: The Alito Bandito Triggers Chaos with Upside-Down Flag Display – You Won’t Believe It!

The recent clutch of agitated headlines driven by leftist neighbors snitching on Supreme Court Justice Sam Alito for an upside-down flag in his yard just after January 6th appears to be another example of the total bias in traditional media.

Recall the other flagrant instances of bias littering our news scene. Just a couple years ago, The New York Times surprised no one when it published a threat against Justice Kavanaugh nestled covertly within the depths of page A-20. But when left-leaning neighbors of the Alito household provided photographic evidence of an upside-down flag, the Times eagerly gobbled it up and smeared it across the front page.

The same neighbors, who get a kick out of peddling such petty politics, asked to keep anonymous. Their reasoning? They didn’t want to contribute to the existing contentiousness within their community. Now isn’t that a little ironic – stirring up controversy and then hoping to avoid any backlash.

In the wake of this, several networks decided to cook up their own versions of the story. For instance, PBS threw in a quick bit about Alito in the middle of their Friday night “Week in Politics”. Yet, they thought it unnecessary to devote a second of real time to discuss the very real threats against Justice Kavanaugh a few weeks back.

Our friends at NPR also saw fit to only mention Alito on their Weekend Edition Saturday. Again, their selective memory seemed to conveniently omit any discussions about Kavanaugh.

ABC joined the bandwagon with a thinly veiled swipe at Alito, dubbing him as “under fire” for flying a flag upside down post-January 6th. The cherry on top of their biased sundae was the claim that Alito was shifting blame onto his wife. The so-called “legal experts” CBS appealed to had the audacity to suggest a potential conflict of interest surrounding Alito.

Lastly, we have CBS running its game with their Capitol Hill reporter, Scott MacFarlane, who appears to have dedicated his career solely to dissecting and re-analyzing January 6. Their assumption – the upside-down flag might somehow tie Alito to “rioters and election deniers”. They preach about justices remaining immune to partisan interests, while their own skewed reporting caters explicitly to appease partisan sentiments.

In the present media landscape, the bias and hypocrisy are as clear as day. These aren’t factual reports of an incident, but carefully crafted and selectively told stories designed to stoke fires and pit neighbors against one another. It is a stark reminder of the importance of thinking critically, being media literate, and questioning information, even when presented by some of the nation’s most esteemed media outlets.
