With all the publicity his recent commencement speech at Morehouse College received, one might think that President Biden was on a winning streak, that is, if you discard the four evident fibs he told.

Recalling his infamous 1987 scandal during his presidential campaign, Biden started off by saying, “I was the first Biden to ever graduate from college.” This statement is false since his maternal grandfather Ambrose Finnegan was a university graduate.

Again, the President referenced his son Beau’s death due to a brain tumor he allegedly contracted while spending “a year in Iraq as a major – he won the Bronze Star —living next to a burn pit.” The truth? The actual science linking brain cancer to exposure to burn pits in Iraq is debatable, but that’s a story Biden repeats often.

If you thought that wasn’t enough, Biden continued to fuel the fire of racial tension with misleading statements about Georgia’s voting practices. “Today in Georgia, they won’t allow water to be available to you while you wait in line to vote in an election,” he said. The truth is Georgia’s 2021 legislation made it illegal to offer any gifts (including food and drink) within 150 feet of a polling place. This doesn’t mean voters can’t have water!

To top off his misinformation saga, Biden suggested there’s a national conspiracy to ban books and “erase history”, something that has been grossly misinterpreted by leftists regarding Florida’s education standards.

Interestingly, none of these moments made it into the New York Times’ gushing report of the Morehouse speech. They mentioned Biden talked about family losses but conveniently left out the “burn pits” discussion.

The President’s recent claim that inflation was at nine percent when he took office was so outright a lie that even liberal “fact checkers” denounced it. These same fact-checkers, however, have yet to look into Biden’s recent falsehoods.

Similar unsubstantiated declarations came from Biden the day before his Morehouse speech, where he continued to perpetuate misinformation. Statements included claiming that Trump told Time magazine that “States should monitor women’s pregnancies and prosecute those who violate the abortion bans” and incorrectly quoting Trump as praising neo-Nazis in the Charlottesville protests, simply untrue!

Despite such a misleading narrative, it’s not uncommon for Biden to repeat these falsehoods. Two recent examples are his continued insistence that he was the first in his family to go to university, and his claim during an NAACP address that he served as vice president “during the pandemic.”

Biden’s blatant disregard for accurate information is troubling, but more concerning is the national TV coverage adjusting their narrative to discard the embarrassing parts. Disturbing? Certainly. But such is the reality of Biden’s presidency where factual errors are being swept under the rug. So much for “erasing history as it unfolds”.
