This eye-catching video wasn’t posted by any random individual; the person responsible goes by the TikTok handle “abortioncounselor,” and rather disturbingly describes herself as “that girl that gets abortions.” Negative abortion jokes, unsettling stories from her numerous procedures, as far as you scroll, her account is flooded with explicitly pro-abortion content.

The song she danced away to? The popular “Blueface” by Thotiana. No need to look up the lyrics; they’re as inappropriate as you would suspect for someone creating such controversial content to share with her considerable audience, 131,000 TikTok followers. An understatement it would be to say, decency isn’t her forte.

It gets more disturbing. In other posts, she falsely claimed to be at 36 weeks pregnancy stage and mockingly enquired about “keeping it” or “getting an abortion.” Her conduct is a troubling glimpse into her mindset, raising brows and questions about her intentions and attitude to such a sensitive issue.

As expected, the public reacts with a combination of disgust and shock. Comments flowed in against her cavalier and inappropriate approach to the matter of abortion. Users didn’t hold back calling her behavior “disturbing,” “evil,” “depraved,” accusing her of lacking morals or having no value for life. She was even tagged as “a deranged psychopath.”

Now, I have my opinions on this woman and her actions, and I’m sure many of you do too. However, hurling insults isn’t constructive. Instead, I believe we need a different approach, a more compassionate one. Let’s hope for an intervention, a profound encounter with grace, that could steer her onto a path of change, that she could begin to value life and leave behind this disturbing farce she’s embroiled herself in. It’s beyond just her; it’s about the future life she plans to cease next. It’s time for a U-turn, don’t you think?
