Media Shy Away from ‘Port Biden’s’ Shocking Crash – What They Don’t Want You to Know!

You won’t believe this folks, but there’s been an embarrassing blunder in Biden’s dealings in Gaza: the temporary pier, also known as “Port Biden”, has partially collapsed. Meant to speed up relief supply delivery for civilians, this stall is causing havoc.

NBC’s Raf Sanchez brings us the details: according to U.S. military officials, severe weather damaged the pier and they’ve had to pause aid deliverance via sea. Even worse, the American relief effort took another hit when military boats ended up stranded on the coasts of Israel and Gaza, punctuated by a tragic accident that left a U.S. service member critically injured.

Imagine being on the scene, as Sanchez was reporting from Tel Aviv. The Pentagon declares at least a week to mend the pier, significantly hurting the humanitarian efforts in Gaza at a critical time. When people are relying on food and aid, man-made delays are the last thing you’d want. Particularly embarrassing for President Biden, who trumpeted the pier in his State of the Union address, against the advice of humanitarian groups declaring it impractical. After two months of setting up, it was functional for just 14 days before suffering significant damage.

CBS Evening News gave a passing comment about the issue, mentioning the growing humanitarian crisis and the blow dealt by the pier’s collapse. The $320 million endeavor went to sleep in rough seas and will stay out of commission for a week or so. Pales in comparison to NBC’s coverage, but at least CBS mentioned it. Bravo, CBS.

On the other side of the tapestry, ABC World News Tonight hasn’t said a word, maintaining its role as the Biden cheerleader among its peers. Had this pier crumbled during the Bush or Trump administrations, I have no doubt that news outlets would have been all over it, spreading the news far and wide.

The blatant double standards at play make for a bitter pill to swallow. It’s hard to picture the silence that would ensue were it not for media outlets covering these mishaps seriously. The Port Biden disaster deserves wider attention.

It’s undeniable – the collapse of Port Biden is a blow to Biden’s administration, damaging American efforts to help the people of Gaza in their dire hour. The silence and lack of attention from certain corners of the media is deafening. Once again, the conservatives are left to pick up the mantle of unbiased reporting. But we should be asking ourselves: what could be more significant than holding those in power accountable? It’s high time the media took this responsibility seriously.
