You Won’t Believe Who Completely Ignored Trump’s Speech After His Verdict!

“Don’t you love when mainstream media shows their true colors? This past Friday, the saga continued. NBC was the sole network to interrupt its programming for President Donald Trump’s compelling speech questioning his conviction, a testament to the inconvenient truth that media bias lives on.

While our former POTUS was delivering his well-detailed tirade against his conviction at 11:06 a.m. Eastern, the channel ushered Lester Holt and cohort Hallie Jackson on screen to present a special report. The former president was given a meager 20 minutes before his remarks were sacrificed for a discussion led by their senior legal correspondent, Laura Jarrett.

Meanwhile, ABC had its focus elsewhere; engrossed in the panel banter on The View, the network missed Trump’s pivotal talk. Conversely, CBS was preoccupied with Drew Carey’s nuggets of wisdom on the The Price is Right, side-stepping the potentially impactful speech.

At least MSNBC had the decency to air Trump’s discourse from 11:06 through 11:27. Yet even here, the co-host Ana Cabrera felt the need to interject and ‘fact-check’ the former President’s speech, steering the breakout panel discussion with fellow co-host Jose Diaz-Balart instead of focusing on Trump’s live commentary.

However, nothing screams bias like CNN’s handling of Trump’s discourse. Only 19 minutes in, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and Erin Burnett felt the need to interrupt the whole thing to bring in their handy-dandy in-house fact-checker, Mr. Daniel Dale, simultaneously airing a muted video of Trump. Bit much?

The blatant disregard of such a paramount event isn’t just infuriating to Trump’s supporters, but deeply offensive to those who value objectivity in journalism. The media, theoretically a vessel of truth, willfully ignored Trump’s reasoning as to why he believes his trial was a farce.

In the end, it seems like the media’s only interested in serving the right “price” for Trump’s opponents – a disservice to the American people who deserve to hear every side of the story. The massive disconnect from media’s duty is clear and present. Though this might be the current media landscape, news outlets have a duty to present balanced reports. Withholding half the narrative does everyone an injustice. We need to be given the chance to make up our own mind, not just fed what suits the media’s personal agenda.”
