All justice-loving Americans were stunned Wednesday by a newly released video showcasing an antisemitic group threatening Jews on a New York City subway. What’s more shocking, the mob had earlier held a rally in support of the notorious October 7 attack on Israel. This horrendous occurrence was largely ignored by CBS and NBC on their Wednesday and Thursday broadcasts. ABC stood as the lone mainstream voice reporting on the surge of antisemitism.

Despite CBS Evening News having the chance to reveal this alarming episode of hatred, they instead went with stories about President Biden signing a decade-long commitment to Ukraine and speculation on extraterrestrial life. NBC Nightly News, on the other hand, spent its time praising ACLU’s lawsuit against Biden’s asylum executive order and fawning over pandas in China.

Contrarily, David Muir, the anchor for ABC’s World News Tonight, courageously covered the horrifying antisemitic incident happening on the New York subway. Senior Investigative Correspondent Aaron Katersky highlighted a shocking video where protestors demanded subway riders to disclose if they’re Zionists, evidently with harmful intentions.

The coverage revealed that the mob had earlier waved the flags of renowned terror groups, Hamas and Hezbollah, at their rally. Still, CBS and NBC remained mute. Even Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer publicly condemning the antisemitism on the Senate floor didn’t pique their interest, whereas Katersky continued to unravel the alarming narrative.

The antisemitic mob also defaced the home of the Jewish director of the Brooklyn Museum, a crime Katersky pointed out. The NYPD has transformed the case from a matter of free speech to a potential criminal charge of attempted coercion. Yet, the silence from CBS and NBC remains deafening.

In conclusion, while ABC has stepped up to the plate and called out the horrifying antisemitic acts happening in America, CBS and NBC seem to have turned a blind eye. Their failure to report on such disturbing events is a fear-inducing reality for every just and truth-loving American.
