Biden’s new press secretary and Psaki’s replacement, Karine Jean-Pierre, was caught on tape with a reporter laughing at the who was “running point” on the baby formula crisis.

Biden released a statement when choosing her saying, “Karine not only brings the experience, talent and integrity needed for this difficult job, but she will continue to lead the way in communicating about the work of the Biden-Harris Administration on behalf of the American people. Jill and I have known and respected Karine a long time and she will be a strong voice speaking for me and this Administration.”
Reporters were asking about the baby formula shortage that has hit the United States in recent months. Abbot Nutrition was forced to recall several of it’s baby formulas because of the death of a baby and other babies getting ill after eating it.
