Jewelry Store Employees Fight Off Thieves Armed With Hammer

In Orange County, California, jewelry store employees took on thieves with only their fists. The footage taken from a surveillance camera shows thieves with hammers entering the Princess Bride Diamonds at the Bella Terra mall at around 12:00PM.

The employees quickly jumped into action after one thieves seen wearing a hood ran in ans smashed a jewelry display case. They can be seen punching and kicking the robbers.

Two of the employees, a brother and sister, in the video work for the family-owned business, said KTLA 5. They can quickly be seen jumping into action.

One of the employees, Sarah Baca, can be seen hitting a thief over the head with a chair. The robbers were so stunned by the vicious response that they quickly retreated.

“At some point while I was fighting them, one of them actually hit me in the head with a hammer, on the side of my left temple, but I didn’t even register it until after they left because there was so much like adrenaline going on,” one employee Dallas Baca told KTLA 5.

The family has run a diamond business for years but this is the first attack they have ever faced.

“We had an idea that it could happen, but it’s always different when it actually does happen,” said employee Dallas Baca.

Baca continued telling the press that they were mainly seeking to make them leave as quickly as possible.

“At some point while I was fighting them, one of them actually hit me in the head with a hammer, on the side of my left temple, but I didn’t even register it until after they left because there was so much like adrenaline going on,” Baca added.

“I’m just glad everyone’s OK. I’m glad that our team banded together and we were able to put up a fight and stop what was happening,” added another employee Sarah Baca.

“I picked up a chair and I hit the one guy in the head that was attacking Lily,” continued Sarah.

The police were called after the attack. The jewelry store is doing an accounting and is not sure what was taken yet.

In the last several years, California has seen an huge increase in smash and grabs and this is just another example.

Do you think that liberal policies are leading to the increase in property crimes in Democrat-run cities?
