Store security footage shows several Best Buy workers setting up a football-esque attempt to stop a group of shoplifters that were trying to rob the store of several phones from the display tables.

Barstool sports shared the clip which received almost 7 million views.

The clip went viral and shows the workers setting up an excellent defensive line after the shoplifters try to run off. The video is 16 seconds long and you can watch below.

Barstool sports tweeted out the video following a widely shared meme saying “Best Buy has a better defense than your favorite NFL team.”

It’s not known which Best Buy location this was taken at, but the clip has been watched more than 7million times.

It’s not known what happened to the thieves after either.

One social media summed it up well, “You got to give credit to the game plan, preparation, and execution.”

Another pointed to the one employee you can see shuffling to cut off one of the thieves, saying “This guys lateral movement is elite.”

There have been numerous smash and grab style robberies across the country in recent years that has plagued upscale stores in US cities. According to CNN, one reason for the increase in smash and grab’s has been a decrease of police resources – which means that theft cases are taken less seriously than other crimes.
