Biden Press Sec: Here’s What Guns Biden Wants To Ban

On Tuesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre admitted that President Biden will not ban handgun sales but admitted he is open to other bans.

She responded to a question from Fox News‘ Peter Doocy about whether Biden would do “national freeze on handgun ownership” similar to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s recent action in Canada and that’s when she gave away Biden’s position.

You can watch the exchange at the 43:45 mark.

Jean-Pierre said back to Doocy, “He supports a ban on sales of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines and expanded background checks to keep guns out of dangerous hands. He does not support a ban on the sale of all handguns.

Later in the questioning, Jean-Pierre said that increasing checks on the second amendment is popular and touted several polls. She continued saying that Biden is urging Congress to act to stop the “epidemic of gun violence we’re seeing.”

Earlier this week, Trudeau announced, “We’re introducing legislation to implement a national freeze on handgun ownership.” Many conservatives are afraid of seeing similar freezes here in America. Read more about Trudeau’s declaration here.

Doocy followed up with the White House press secretary and asked next if “any part of the inflation was because of Biden’s spending plan or is it all Putin’s fault?”

She touted the administration talking points about “transitioning” to a new “steady economy.”

Second amendment advocates should be worried about Biden’s declaration. He has given strange remarks regarding 2A legislation.

During remarks earlier in the week after his visit to Uvalde, Biden seemed to say that 9mm is characterized as “high-caliber” and could be subjected to a ban.

“They said a .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out — may be able to get it and save the life. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body,” Biden said to reporters.

“So, the idea of these high-caliber weapons is, uh, there’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of self-protection, hunting,” Biden continued. “Remember, the Constitution was never absolute.”

House Democrats are currently preparing 8 gun control bills being passed to shave pieces off the second amendment. Their bills are targeting bump stocks, “ghost guns,” and are pushing for higher age limits of semi-automatics from 18 to 21.

Do you think Democrats will get their gun control measures passed? Let us know your thoughts.
