President Joe Biden was seen stumbling up the stairs of Air Force One as he was getting on the jet at Andrews Airforce Base to travel to Los Angeles, California, for the Summit of the Americas.

Biden can be seen quickly tripping and catching himself on the rail and regaining his balance as he jogs up the stairs to the waiting Air Force One. It’s just another example of Biden’s clumsiness.

His slip recalls previous tumbles from the president that were turned into memes. He did the same thing last month in Illinois and most noticeably tripped early in his presidency as seen in the meme below.

The president is flying to the Summit of the Americas where he is speaking to central and south American leaders. He was noticeably snubbed by Mexico’s President, who chose not to come because Cuban and Venezuelan leadership were not invited.

Biden’s health has previously been called into question and these moments don’t help arguments against these questions.

Before his slip getting on the plane, he told the press that American voters want tougher gun control laws.

“I think the voters sent a clear message last night: Both parties ought to step up and do something about crime, as well as gun violence,” said Biden before boarding.

“The first major bill we passed, we gave the states and localities billions of dollars, billions of dollars, and encourage them to use it to hire police officers and reform their police departments. Very few have done it,” he added.

“It’s time the states and the localities spend the money they have to deal with crime, as well as retrain police officers, as well as provide for more community policing. It’s time to get on with doing that. And that’s what I think the message last night from the American public was in all the primaries.”

Biden, who has often bucked the more radical leg of his party in supporting police officers despite criticism from fellow Democrats, said he wants police to hurry up and spend the money to rebuild and retrain their forces. This is a major change from the previous defund the police movement pushed by the mainstream Democrat party.
