Footage Released Of Frat Hazing That Left Student Paralyzed, Can’t Speak

New surveillance footage has emerged showing a horrifying hazing at University of Missouri fraternity that injured a student, 19, to the point that he can no longer walk or speak due to alcohol-related brain damage.

Danny Santulli, the student, is now forced to use a wheelchair and must be attended at all times after the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity forced him to drink a 1.7f liter bottle of Tito’s and was forced to a beer bong.

Newly released from Good Morning America surveillance footage shows what happened during the hazing event called the “Pledge Dad Reveal Night” at the fraternity Phi Gamma Delta. Watch the families remarks at the 4-minute mark.

During the night, the student can be seen stumbling around and eventually passing out shirtless on a couch. Later, Danny stopped breathing and fell from the couch where his lips turned blue.

Several fraternity members are seen taking him to the hospital – once they knew how bad his condition had deteriorated. By the time he made it to the hospital, he had stopped breathing for so long that he had brain damage.

Now, his mother has left her bank job to care for her severely-handicapped son – who requires constant attention.

The family has already sued the fraternity and won the case in an undisclosed settlement. Now, they are suing the two fraternity members that played a larger role in the hazing: Sam Gandhi and Alec Wetzler.

Wetzler has now been charged with a misdemeanor for giving alcohol to a minor and has been expelled from the school. Gandhi is currently not charged and is still enrolled at the college. The family is seeking felony charges against the two of them.

According to their lawsuit, Gandhi did nothing to help Danny despite seeing the bad state he was in.

The family is heartbroken and the mother spoke out about the ordeal.

“Just the fact that nobody… they knew he was in distress. His lips were blue and nobody called 911. I mean, six year olds call 911,” said Danny’s mother.

The father said, he wants to see the two frat boys being charged “with felony D’s.”

Gandhi is an architecture major and was scheduled to graduate net year. Wetzler was seeking a bachelors in business administration.

The fraternity has been banned from the campus.

Fraternities across America have come under fire for hazing incidents even though they are considered illegal in most states. This case shows how quickly someone can endanger themselves while drinking high amounts of alcohol. For the parents, it’s very sad and they will likely never seen their son return to full function. Do you think they boys should be charged in this case with felonies?
