Marjorie Taylor Greene Accuses Democrat Chief Of Staff Of Crimes On House Floor

Famed Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green called on the Department of Justice to take action after “attacks on [her] office and [her] Christian faith” by a Democrat chief-of-staff.

On Tuesday morning, Greene said the remarks on the House floor and showed compelling evidence that proves that it was a Democrat staffer named Tim Hysom who committed the crime.

“Madam Speaker, I would like to address the House and talk about how I have been mistreated as a freshman member of Congress,” Rep. Greene said.

Rep. Green was speaking about a placard that she put outside her office to protest the transgender flag that her office-neighbor Illinois Rep. Marie Newman put outside her office. The two have had an escalating feud since February of 2021.

Greene’s placard reads, “There are TWO genders: MALE & FEMALE” and “Trust The Science.”

Newman posted a video in February of 2021 showing her installing a trans flag across from Greene’s office. Greene posted her placard in response. Since, her sign has been attacked “11 times” since while her opponent’s flag has remained untouched, according to the GOP Congresswoman.

“Imagine if MY STAFF attacked her trans flag! They’d be rotting in jail!” Greene wrote to show how duplicitous the justice system is in Washington. “But they never have nor ever would & it’s hanging across the hall untouched.”

Greene also posted a video of her sign being attacked by Tim Hysom, chief of staff for Congressman Jake Auch. She says that he was identified by Capitol police, but the Department of Justice refuses to prosecute him. She accused him of continually harassing her sign and her.

“This is a chief of staff, this isn’t a low-level staffer, this isn’t an intern, this is a chief of staff that has had quite a career,” Greene said.

“The [US Attorney in DC] REFUSES to prosecute him. The DOJ refuses to protect half of the country. It’s time to end this two-tiered justice system,” she wrote above a video posted of the Hysom defacing her sign.

Greene claimed in her speech that she was “mistreated” just like Republicans have been mistreated by the US judicial system.

“The American people feel mistreated, the same way I feel mistreated… and it’s completely wrong. It needs to change,” she said.

“We’re going to hit a point one day where the American people don’t trust Congress anymore, and with the way things are going, I don’t blame them one single bit,” Green said.

Greene also ripped into Attorney General Merrick Garland for traveling to Ukraine in a trip to discuss the possibility of prosecuting Russian war crimes in the region.

She wrote in her tweet, “Merrick Garland is more interested in prosecuting Russians than criminals working in our government like Jake Auch chief of staff Tim Hysom. Does our U.S. Attorney General actually serve the U.S. or Ukraine?”

Greene may be right, too. The US attorney’s office that prosecuted the January 6 participants has declined to approve an arrest warrant for Hysom for the incident, according to police documents.

Many Republicans believe that we do have a two-tiered justice system in this country and Greene’s words will ring true with them. There have been numerous examples of Democrats getting away with things that Republicans never would. Do you think that the Democrat staffer should be charged?
