On Friday, the Supreme Court struck down the landmark Roe v. Wade case that allowed for federalized legal abortions nationwide since 1973. The decision was met with protests on Friday and Saturday night outside the Supreme Court with thousands of protests taking place across the country in tandem.
On Friday night, left wing agitators were seen burning an American flag to make their point against abortion.
On Saturday during the day, abortion protesters were seen covered in fake blood and chanting “fuck this court and “abortion is healthcare” outside the Supreme Court building.
Confrontations broke out between pro-life and pro-abortion protestors outside the building, too. At one point, one of the protestors can be seen calling pro-lifers fascists.
There were some arrests. One protester was seen being taken away by police.
There was very little violence in D.C as reported by Tayler Hansen for the Next News Network. He said there was ANTIFA on Friday night, but the protests never got too out of hand.
One of the protesters sitting outside the event wearing a shirt that read “I am Jesus Christ” said that he thinks there are Nazi’s on the supreme court.
Paxton Smith, a Texas college student interviewed by ABC, traveled to D.C. to protest the court’s decision and says that her main concern is the trigger laws in many GOP states that will impose penalties on abortion providers.

“If they are willing to do that to abortion providers, there is no doubt in my mind that they are going to make some type of legislation that criminalizes abortion as well,” Smith said. “It’s extremely important to vote on midterm elections — these state officials are going to be the ones having the most control over these abortion laws in each state.”
Immediately after the decision by the Supreme Court, abortion became illegal in 11 states. Twelve other states have laws in place to restrict abortion access, according to the Guttmacher Institute. Abortion is still legal in most Democrat run states and is likely to remain so.
Seeing the left meltdown just shows their attitudes toward our government. Roe v. Wade was overturned democratically and constitutionally and the left can’t stand it. If they want to change the decision, they can’t throw out the entire constitution. They need to follow the rules and pass laws. That’s all the SCOTUS decision actually ruled. Do you think the protests will get worse? Tell us your thoughts.
