Hundreds of volunteers cleaning up the Glastonbury music festival in the UK and one said they felt demoralized after having to pick up all the litter left behind. This is the same festival that Climate activist Greta Thunberg spoke at.
Greta Thunberg took the stage at the festival on June 25 this year and said that it is up to everyone to talk about the “climate crisis” everywhere.
Here’s video from the event showing all the trash left behind by festival goers that were reportedly in aw of the climate activists speech – apparently not enough to take head of it.
There are over 700 volunteers there to clean up the event and it’s usually done by the next morning.
One volunteer named Philippa Frason came with her daughter to help clean up and spoke to the Somerset Live.
“We do four shifts of six hours everyday from 6pm till 12. As you can see it is very organised actually but it is because people have been doing it for hundreds of years, so they know how it works,” she said. “I believe it is our first year in fact to ban use of single use bottles which has worked as far as I can see. There are few plastic things which have sneaked in unfortunately.
“It is demoralising when you have been doing this for three days and it all back there. It is rewarding though I have to say.”
The festival tweeted a picture of the stage grounds cleared of trash on Monday after the volunteers’ hard work. Take a look.
There is an incorrect meme going around that uses a photo from the event showing a field strewn with trash, but the picture is from 2015. The AP rated it false because it was from a different year. However, it is apparent that the field was trashed again this year.
Nobody thinks that the littering is Greta’s fault. It’s just the irony of people from her camp not taking any of her statements and applying them to their own lives.

You’ll never hear the climate doom-sayers speak of Antarctica. For decades there has been consistent cold, snow and ice accumulation. The last several years record cold, snow and ice accumulation. Its ice pack is growing in leaps and bounds. Glaciers growing. Also the number of catastrophic hurricanes and tornadoes has dwindled for over twenty years. Oceans have NOT risen in any significant way and total rainfalls/snow have continued as forever in their cyclical pattern. As far as droughts and high temperatures go, the entire planet including the U.S. has had droughts with record hot and cold temperatures as far as they’ve been keeping records. They come and they go. Remember if you look it up on LEFTIST google you will get their first pages pushing the myth of global warming and climate change. But if you drill down to other more reputable websites the facts are there. Conclusion: Climate change etc is a lie pushed by the elite globalists for politics, control of the masses and power. The planet is in no danger folks. It is a charlatan farce.
P.S. Learn about the sun-spot cycle. It effects the weather profoundly. Thus the weather cycles.
