Joe Biden’s Past Statements on Abortion Further Prove He’s Nothing But a Puppet for the Far Left

Two resurfaced videos of Joe Biden speaking on the topic of abortion in the past have been making their rounds on social media. Unsurprisingly, Biden’s thoughts in both videos are a complete-180 from his recent statements on the issue.

The resurfaced videos follow the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, the 1973 landmark ruling that created a right to abortion nationwide. The High Court’s new ruling returns issues about abortion to the individual states.

During an interview with the Jesuit Publication ‘America’ in 2015, Joe Biden, who was Vice President at the time, said, “abortion is always wrong.”

In the same interview, Biden also said that he believes life begins at conception and added that there is room in the Democratic Party for people who believe abortion should be illegal.

“I’m prepared to accept that at the moment of conception there’s human life and being, but I’m not prepared to say that to other God-fearing, non-God-fearing people that have a different view,” Biden said.

The second resurfaced video that has been making its rounds on social media is of a ‘Texas Monthly’ 2006 interview where then-Delaware Senator Joe Biden explained that he did not view abortion as “a right.”

“I do not view abortion as a choice and a right. I think it’s always a tragedy, and I think that it should be rare and safe, and I think we should be focusing on how to limit the number of abortions. And there ought to be able to have a common ground and consensus as to do that,” Biden said.

Biden’s past comments on abortion are very different from his so-called stance on the issue now. As previously reported by The Next News Network, President Biden attacked the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade during the NATO summit in Madrid on Thursday and even called for Senate Democrats to overturn the 60-vote filibuster to pass a federal abortion law.

Interestingly enough, Biden’s stance on the filibuster has also changed dramatically within the past few years. In 2019 while he was on the campaign trail in Iowa, Biden said ending the filibuster is a “very dangerous thing to do.”
