Trump Responds To Abe Assassination: “He Was A True Friend of Mine.”

On Friday morning, shortly after Former Prime Minister Abe was assassinated, President Trump gave his condolences on Truth Social. The two were often seen together and had negotiated a trade deal while they were both in office.

Abe was giving a speech in Nara City, Japan, and was shot from behind. He later died. Police immediately arrested a man in his 40s on the scene. There is no known motive currently, but the video is shocking.

Trump released two statements on Truth Social in response to the slaying of his “friend.” The first one came before the former minister’s death.

“Absolutely devastating news that former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan, a truly great man and leader, has been shot, and is in very serious condition. He was a true friend of mine and, much more importantly, America. This is a tremendous blow to the wonderful people of Japan, who loved and admired him so much. We are all praying for Shinzo and his beautiful family!” wrote Trump.

Trump posted his messages on Truth Social.

Trump released a follow up statement after it was known that Abe had died.

“Really BAD NEWS FOR THE WORLD! Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is dead. He was assassinated. His killer was captured and will hopefully be dealt with swiftly and harshly. Few people know what a great man and leader Shinzo Abe was, but history will teach them and be kind. He was a unifier like no other, but above all, he was a man who loved and cherished his magnificent country, Japan. Shinzo Abe will be greatly missed. There will never be another like him!” he wrote.

Journalist Calls Tucker Carlson Racist and His Response Is Epic

Abe and Trump reached a $7 billion trade deal together and were often seen golfing together.

The deal allowed for the United States to ship in agricultural goods and lowered tariffs for Japan on shipping products here. At the time, Trump called it a “huge victory for America’s farmers, ranchers, and growers.”

It’s apparent that Trump and Abe were friends and it must be hard seeing a friend killed like that out in the open. The two liked to golf together. It looked like an assassination, too. Please say a prayer for the slain Japanese leader’s family in the comments.
