John Kirby Says Iran Nuclear Deal Will Bring Gas Prices Down

On Tuesday, Biden’s National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said Biden’s newly revamped Iran nuclear deal will bring down gas prices at the pump in the U.S.

During an interview with Fox News, Kirby expounded that the goal of the Iran deal is to prevent the country from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

“Well, look, I mean, there’s obviously a tangential, potentially tangential benefit,” Kirby said after being asked by reporters about the Iran deal.

Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman also framed the deal as another way to boost global oil supply during a separate interview on July 12 with the International Student House of Washington.

“They would get sanctions relief,” she said. “They would improve their economy and sell their oil again, and the world needs their oil, so they could get a good price for it. It’s all in their interest to do this.”

Kirby also detailed in a recent White House press briefing how “climate change is a national security issue.”

Energy producers quickly responded, “It is a lot simpler to consult with US oil and natural gas producers on ways to increase production to meet growing global demand than the administration’s ethical and geopolitical contortions with totalitarian regimes,” said Jason Modglin, president of Texas Alliance of Energy Producers in a statement to Fox.

Biden has been seeking to lower gas prices at the pump coming into midterms, but his executive orders have had little effect. He recently called for Congress to pass a three-month gas-tax holiday to reduce prices by 18 cents a gallon.

ANTIFA Forced To Retreat After Running Into Bikers

However, Biden has continued to increase regulations to push their climate agenda, he cancelled multiple oil and gas lease sales, revoked the Keystone XL pipeline permit and asked Saudi Arabia and Venezuela to boost their output.

On Tuesday, Kirby also discussed at a White House press briefing Putin’s meeting with Iran’s leadership – which is likely why the Biden administration is scrambling to engage with Iran.

Biden is now going to negotiate with a terrorist sponsored state to bring gas prices down. Don’t let Kirby twist it. That’s what they are pushing to do. We could just drill more here and unleash American energy, but instead we are funding our enemies. Does this make sense to you?
