David Hogg Breaks Into US House Proceeding, Rep. Andy Biggs Responds

On Tuesday, activist David Hogg interrupted a House floor proceeding to scream at lawmakers and demanding more gun control.

Hogg is a survivor of a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida and accused lawmakers of doing nothing to stop gun violence in the country.

“You are perpetuating violence … stop these things now,” Hogg said.

“The guns in Parkland, Buffalo, El Paso, didn’t come from Mexico. They came from the US, and the shooters were inspired by racist, anti-black, anti-immigrant manifestos that rhyme with GOP talking points,” Hogg yelled at the lawmakers.

He replied to the video on Twitter with another video discussing the reasons he did it.

The House Judiciary Committee was debating legislation to ban “assault weapons” before the outburst.

Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs responded on Tucker Carlson that night and called Hogg an “insurrectionist” for the outburst.

The discussions have been tense in the committee over legislation to initiate gun control.

“We all respect the Second Amendment, but it’s not without limits,” said Democrat Rep. David Cicilline. “Imagine how much we could get accomplished if we clung to the desire to protect our children and communities as tightly as some of my colleagues cling to their rifles.”

Last month, Biden signed the first gun control bill in 30 years that was passed with GOP support. It expands background checks and helps states start using “red flag” laws to take guns from people that could be dangerous.

Hogg was a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Highschool when the shooting happened there and became a prominent gun control activist afterwards. He was named Time magazines most influential person in 2018. He is also a student at Harvard.

President Biden Tests Positive For The Virus

Do you think Hogg is a role model or just another person trying to become a celebrity? He has been blessed to go to a top school with his activism and likely wants a career in Democrat politics with these kinds of outbursts. Let us know your thoughts.

  • The Hogg is at it once again...his daddy who was with the FBI probably helped him with his script. The father son duo are close, and Hogg son admires his daddy.
