In a prime-time speech on Thursday, President Joe Biden will address ‘extremist threats to democracy’ and ‘the continued fight to restore the soul of our nation.’
Meanwhile, FOX News said ‘not so fast’. Taking to the streets of New York just hours before Biden’s big speech, the network went to the streets of NYC to ask Americans how they feel about the unity of the country.
As one may have expected, a majority of people believe that America is more divided than ever. You can watch FOX’s video HERE.
This comes after Joe Biden called for unity in both his inaugural address and on the campaign trail. However, as we recently reported, Biden broke his promise of unity last week when he said “MAGA philosophy” is “like semi-fascism.”
He went on to say that MAGA Republicans “threaten our personal rights and our economic security,” and then took it a step further by saying, “they are a threat to our Democracy.”
FOX News also asked New Yorkers about Biden’s comments, and, also as we expected, the respondents resoundingly agreed that name-calling and divisive rhetoric will not help bring the country together.
