After Joe Biden verbally attacked MAGA Republicans last week, DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison is making rounds on television to convince Americans that Joe Biden is still committed to unity.
As we reported on Friday, Biden told a group of Democratic donors, “What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy.”
“It’s not just Trump,” he went on, “it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something: It’s like semi-fascism.”
He went on to say that MAGA Republicans “threaten our personal rights and our economic security,” and then took it a step further by saying, “they are a threat to our Democracy.”
On Sunday, DNC Chairman Harrison stuck up for Biden’s rhetoric during his appearance on CBS News “Face the Nation” and tried to convince viewers that Biden is still committed to unity.
"Biden said [in his inaugural address] we should not view each other as adversaries in this country but as neighbors…how does 'semi-fascism' as a label for the Republican Party fit with that?"

Additionally, Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked by CNN’s Don Lemon to explain his “semi-facism” comment.
Panicked, she said the president “very clearly, very powerfully” laid out the choice in front of Americans.
Karine Jean-Pierre is struggling to answer Don Lemon's question about what Joe Biden meant by Republicans being "semi-fascists."

She is so terrible at her job. If you can't even handle Don Lemon as a Democrat flack, you are beyond incompetent. pic.twitter.com/vUmI3h9IdX
