New revelations allege that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, pressured the FBI to exaggerate the threat of white supremacy in order to score political points with his radical base. This is a shocking claim, and if true, represents a serious abuse of power.

According to the Washington Times, agents of the FBI are accusing the Biden administration of exaggerating the threat posed by White supremacists and pressuring them to fabricate cases of domestic terrorism.

This comes just weeks after Biden declared President Trump and those who voted for him as the gravest threat to the stability of the 246-year American experiment.

Former and current FBI agents told The Washington Times that the White supremacist threat has been overblown by the administration. To meet internal metrics, top bureau officials are urging agents to create domestic terrorist cases and tag people as White supremacists.

President Biden held a “United We Stand” summit at the White House on Thursday that coincided with the agents’ disclosures. Through the summit, the administration continued its push against racially motivated domestic violent extremists, which included creating a specialized unit within the Justice Department to combat domestic terrorism.

Those directing bureau policy, the FBI agent said, “have already determined that White supremacy is a problem” and set a policy to prioritize cases of racially motivated domestic extremism.

The FBI Agent said in a statement, “We are sort of the lapdogs as the actual agents doing these sorts of investigations, trying to find a crime to fit otherwise First Amendment-protected activities. If they have a Gadsden flag and they own guns and they are mean at school board meetings, that’s probably a domestic terrorist.”

The Gadsden flag is a historical American flag with a yellow field showing a timber rattlesnake and the words: “Don’t Tread on Me.”

Meanwhile, as noted by The Washington Times, the FBI argues that it does not target groups or individuals based on their political views, only those “who commit or intend to commit violence and criminal activity that constitutes a federal crime or poses a threat to national security.”

An FBI spokesperson said, “The FBI aggressively investigates threats posed by domestic violent extremists. “We do not investigate ideology, and we do not investigate particular cases based on the political views of the individuals involved. The FBI will continue to pursue threats or acts of violence, regardless of the underlying motivation or sociopolitical goal.”
