See How This Local Paper Trolled the Heck Out Residents Who Sent Migrants packing

An ad from a conservative nonprofit, Citizens for Sanity which is known for trolling liberals, mocked Martha’s Vineyard residents for sending 50 migrants packing after they were dropped off on the idyllic island by DeSantis.

The Daily Wire writes, An advertisement published in the Providence Journal, a major Rhode Island daily newspaper, channels the wealthy residents of Martha’s Vineyard and claims to support illegal immigration. On the other hand, the advertisement states that illegal immigrants aren’t welcome on the island.

The mockery was triggered by the island’s swift rejection of migrants flown there by Florida on September 14. The migrants were bussed from Martha’s Vineyard to Joint Base Cape Cod in Massachusetts after just one overnight stay as Governor Charlie Baker (R) declared an emergency and called in the National Guard.

The ad reads, “We strongly support and encourage all forms of migration, especially illegal migration. Indeed, we donate to Joe Biden and his party for this exact reason. However, Our beautiful island home of Martha’s Vineyard is very small and the mansions have very expensive artwork, Persian rugs, and unchlorinated saltwater swimming pools that are very difficult to clean. For these reasons, we cannot accept any undocumented Americans at this time and respectfully ask they be sent to a working class community they can enrich with their global diversity and romantic poverty. Thank you for understanding.”

Citizens For Sanity says that its mission is “to return common sense to America, to highlight the importance of logic and reason, and to defeat “wokeism” and anti-critical thinking ideologies that have permeated every sector of our country and threaten the very freedoms that are foundational to the American Dream.”

As noted by the Daily Caller, The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) encountered 203,597 migrants in August, bringing the fiscal year’s total to 2,150,639, according to agency statistics released Monday. These numbers are the highest ever since records have been available.
