In spite of Mayor Eric Adams’ state of emergency declaration, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott plans to continue to ship migrants to New York City.

According to NewsMax, Texas has bused over 2,900 migrants to New York City since Aug. 5.

On Friday, Governor Abbott wrote on Twitter, “Sanctuary cities like New York City experience a fraction of what Texas border communities face every day. We’ll continue busing migrants to NYC, DC, & Chicago to relieve our overwhelmed border towns until [President Joe] Biden does his job to secure the border.”

This comes after the mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, declared a state of emergency on Friday, saying that his city was not prepared for the influx of illegal immigrants arriving by bus from Texas.

According to the Daily Wire, during a press conference, Adams, who has previously boasted that New York City is a sanctuary city, stated that political violence in South America had triggered the crisis, but American political maneuvering had only exacerbated it.

Adams also said that he and New Yorkers are”angry” because they “did not ask for this.”

In August Abbot appeared on ABC News and responded to criticism of his sending illegals to New York.

Abbot is doing a fine job of exposing the hypocrisy of the left, and Adam’s Emergency Declaration proves that. For another glaring example we can look no further that the queen of immigrant drama herself, AOC, who freaked out once Illegal aliens were going to be placed in tent cities in her district.
