This week, Times Square will be filled with a display reminding visitors of the record inflation facing the country, as Joe Biden slobbers over an ice cream cone.
The Washington Free Beacon reports, an electronic billboard set up by Job Creators Network, a business advocacy group, on Thursday shows President Joe Biden eating an ice cream cone. The billboard also shows data showing the rising cost of the dessert’s ingredients.
“HERE’S THE SCOOP: Bidenflation is a recipe for disaster,” the billboard reads. “C’mon Joe, the numbers don’t lie.”
The billboard purchase comes as polls indicate inflation and the economy are the two top concerns for voters. According to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics report, food prices at home have risen 13 percent since last year, and gas prices have risen 18 percent and utility gas prices 33 percent.
However, as we previously reported, Joe Biden called the economy “strong as hell.”
In a statement to the media, Job Creators Network president Alfredo Ortiz called Biden’s claim that the U.S. economy is “strong as hell” “delusional.”
“I’m sure the small business owner who scooped that ice cream cone could have given him an earful about their struggles with supply chains and inflation,” Ortiz said. “Bidenflation is giving this economy a painful ice cream headache.”
